Morse Golf Academy
The Morse Golf Academy at The Legends is the premiere facility on the south-side of Indianapolis for Golf Instruction.
Director of Instruction and PGA Member Jim Morse is the owner and operator of MGA. Jim has a long, successful history in the golf business as a Head Professional and Director of Instruction. Jim learned the business and gained valuable experience as Head Professional at Eldorado Country Club in Indian Wells, California for a majority of his career to this point.
Jim met his wife, also a PGA Member, while both were working at separate private clubs in Southern California. After getting married and having two young children, Jim and Crystal moved their family to the south-side of Indianapolis to be closer to family. This is where Jim became Director of Instruction at GolfTec in Castleton and learned the ins and outs of indoor golf instruction and technology.
After spending 2 years at GolfTec, Jim came on as the Director of Instruction at The Legends with the vision of bringing state-of-the-art technology and instructional opportunities to the south-side. After a long process, he is happy to open the Morse Golf Academy at The Legends!
MGA features two, 500 sq ft hitting bays that are outfitted with Foresight GC Quad Launch Monitors and JC Video Swing Analysis equipment. Students get the advantage of hitting into an impact screen to see ball flight and receive instant feedback.
MGA also has a third bay that is one of only three Callaway Fitting Studio’s in the state. To offer a complete experience, there is an 800 sq ft putting green that allows students the full learning experience.
